Storm in a teacup
We have a tiny tea room at the back of our sweet shop. It seats six easily, seven at a push. After that we start running out of cups and saucers.

Sugar or ceiling plaster in your tea? One lump or two?
On Friday all the lights went out and the Tearoom ceiling nearly ended up on the floor. It had started on Thursday with a strange chuckling noise unexpectedly coming from the chandelier. Then came the drips which was extremely disconcerting. A man arrived, banged about a bit in the flat above and said, 'all was now well.'
It clearly wasn't. Drips again on Friday until mid morning when the girl above had a bath which emptied out through our ceiling. This obviously caused mayhem and distress and the chandelier had to come down. On the upside, now it's dried and back in place, the soap suds have made it all sparkly and it's never shined so bright. Just in time for Christmas.
