We have a tiny tea room at the back of our sweet shop. It seats six easily, seven at a push. After that we start running out of cups and saucers.

A Restaurant really, pretending to be a trendy cafe
Tea pots dont't cost much do they? If you have tea on your menu why serve it up as if are doing your best to meet an eccentric demand? Tea for three arrived in tiny cups with floating tea bags. The tea was strong and we asked the waitress for a pot of hot water. We never saw her again. Shame because she had seemed to understand our request. Unlike our hapless waiter. It had been suggested earlier that he would 'see to our every need', but not only did he not seem to know his way round the menu or cafe, but the concept of eating out seemed fresh news to him. We repeated our request and he brought a dolls tea cup of hot water. He then returned with a large cup of which he seemed quite proud. I gave up and sloshed it into our cups. As the tea situation was clearly going nowhere we ordered a jug of water with our food. Six of us in total and only two glassed arrived. After asking for more we never did make it to six. Inexplicably he brought six spoons for one pudding. By then he must have thought we were mad for multiples or maybe he thought it was just the quickest way to get rid.
